Michael, a 10th-grade student at Annapolis High School, has been a part of the Marshall Learning Center community for the past four years. His journey began when he accompanied his mother to her English language learner classes—and soon found a place of his own.
Since then, Michael has thrived at Marshall Learning, forming strong friendships and becoming an enthusiastic helper to younger students. He especially values the small class sizes, which allow for more one-on-one support and deeper engagement with advanced material. In fact, he finds the classes here more challenging than those at school, helping him feel better prepared for academic success.
STEM is Michael’s favorite subject at the center, and he still talks about the excitement of building catapults through the LET'S GO Make it Work curriculum. He credits much of his positive experience to Ms. Tatiana, whose care and dedication are felt by every student.
Michael’s story is just one example of the lasting impact Marshall Learning Center and LET'S GO has on its learners—and why so many students are proud to be part of this community.
