The LET'S GO Teen Science Café Program is an innovative workforce development initiative aimed at cultivating teen leadership and empowerment. LET'S GO Teen Science Cafés bring together teens, adults, and local STEM experts to foster youth discovery, learning, and interest in STEM. Cafés facilitate the building of relationships and connections within local communities where youth and adults collaborate on presentations and hands-on activities that delve into relevant STEM topics. The student leaders of the program, AKA the “Teen Science Café Crew” play a central role in planning and executing all aspects of the Cafés, fostering teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, while gaining experience in financial planning, decision-making, and public relations.
